The Gripper Ball 8 Inch

Not for GSD who loves to chew!
My German Shepherd destroyed this in about 15 minutes. He tore the handle off. He still plays with the rest of it as it maintained its shape. Just be careful and watch your dog so he doesn't swallow any loose pieces.
Labs favorite toy
I have a 130lbs golden lab that's built like a mini-horse and she can't leave the house to play without this ball in her mouth. Bailey is 5 now and though they claim it's pretty indestructible this our 4th one as she does eventually tear it apart. I'd say they last a good year if your dog plays with it regularly. Once your dog bites thru one side of the handle at the top it kind of creates a hole/opening to tear thru the rest. Still though, I've bought many balls/toys in multiple different colors and this is the only ball Bailey retrieves. Bought for a competitive price here and saved the 30mile drive to Bass Pro where I used to go to find this exact ball for around the same price (+) tax.
Mom & Dad Buy Me One!
This is the best throw toy Mom & Dad have ever bought for me. Daddy throws it out in the back yard for 20 minutes every day and I LIVE to fetch it back to him so he can throw it again.

The only thing I don't like about this ball is that it is made of thick rubber and I can't chew it up. Oh, yeah! Daddy complained that it goes flat easily and he can't air it back up with the compressor because my teeth made holes in it when I fetched it.

I wish Mom & Dad would let me play with it anytime I want to, but they put it away after my fetch playtime with Daddy!

Booda Bones Little Bone 11 Pack (For Dogs Under 15 lbs) - Chicken

Booda Bones
When we got our 8 week old puppy our daughter got us a supply of Booda Bones. We had one in every room and every car and they were the only things that saved us from those little sharp teeth. Thank goodness they are made in different sizes so as puppy grows, so does the size of the bones. It was funny to watch how much our puppy enjoyed his bones. It was as if he had found nirvana.

When our neighbor got a new puppy I got her a supply of Booda bones. I couldn't find them at the local pet store so I shopped on Amazon and found them. Thank god for Amazon.
Looking for these
These are very hard to find and my grand puppy loves them! He was very happy to find them in his Christmas stocking!

N-Bone Puppy Teething Ring, 1-Pack

A Choice for the Chewsy
When a puppy needs to chew
Anything will do.
Furniture, rugs, and curtains too
Shoes, cuffs, and even you.

Our little Bolognese puppy is a constant chewer. When she's chewing on something taboo, we've found it most effective to distract or divert her with something acceptable like a toy or the puppy teething ring. Gabby loves the teething ring and will chew on it for hours at a time. When she has to be in her crate, the teething ring is great company and comfort for her.
I like the ingredients of the ring and knowing that there's nothing in it that will harm her. So far we've had no staining problems of our all white dog's mouth from the ring. My only concern is the accumulation of bacteria on what for our dog is a very long lasting chew. After a couple weeks I'll discard the old ring and give her a new one. We follow the same procedure with rawhide and Booda chews for our older dog.

For us the teething ring has been great, and I recommend...
Not for strong chewers
My nine week old German Shorthair had it eaten in five minutes and then threw up.
Not for strong, aggressive chewers/larger breeds.
Great
My maltese ADORED this!! he sat and ate the whole thing pretty quickly, and the ring shape he really loved!

BUT the brown in the ring stained him all around his mouth!! (so my white puppy was left brown around his mouth! lol). So now I get the N-Bone Teething Treats, which leave his mouth white, but give the same great taste.

So overall, these are great if your pup isn't all white!

Chuckit! Large Ultra Ball 3-Inch, 1-Pack

Stick with the regular ultra balls
These ultra balls work fine -- they're certainly as bouncy and durable as the regular-sized ultra balls -- but you're paying almost as much for one large ultra ball as you do for two regular ultra balls. The large ultra balls are 3" in diameter and use the less-commonly-available [but easily orderable here on Amazon] large Chuckit thrower, whereas the regular ultra balls at 2.5" are of course the "standard" size of tennis balls. That extra half-inch doesn't seem to matter to our dogs (who are ~70lbs and ~90lbs.), although if you have something like a mastiff or great dane perhaps it would be worth it.

So, in brief... product is fine, just not really cost effective IMO.
Dog ball
This is the ONLY chewable toy my 110 pound Great Dane has not destroyed inside an hour.
Merits Kelsy's seal of approval.
Kelsy is a five year old black Lab who lives to fetch. More than anything, she loves to fetch in the lake. This bigger ball has a number of advantages. First, it's bigger, so it's easier to see when the lake gets a little choppy. Second, not everyone has one, so, when that other black lab goes chasing after his regular orange ChuckIt ball, everyone can see the size difference, avoiding unnecessary barking and snarling. Likewise, when that other black lab steals her ball and takes it back to his owner, it doesn't fit in his ChuckIt launcher, so he knows his dog is a little thief. Third, it makes more noise landing on dirt or water, so Kelsy has an easier time locating it.

I like it because it seems to be less of a choking hazard. Kelsy has been chasing and chewing on regular tennis-ball size balls for years with out any problems, but I feel the larger ball stands even less of a chance of getting lodged in her throat through some freak accident.

I suppose...

N-Bone 6-pack Puppy Teething Ring, Chicken Flavor

Perfect teething ring!!
Great idea for a puppy! Our little pug loves these and is easy for her to tote around! Highly recommend!
YUMMY and fun for our puppy
These are a little expensive, but I like being able to give them to our puppy when we are going out and I need her to keep busy at home for awhile while we are gone. She enjoys chewing on them and they are always completely gone when we get back.
Not buying again
I have mixed feelings on these. On the one hand my puppy is obsessed with them so the obviously taste great and if she doesn't break the ring they last quite a while. On he other hand, once she breaks the ring she scarfes the thing down like she hasn't eaten in weeks and I have to watch her closely to take away the last couple inches cause it gets really gummy and gets stuck in her teeth and she can't get it out. It also gets really slimy and gummy and makes a mess.

Nylabone Dura Chew Bone, Chicken Flavor, Souper

My Lab loves it
My Lab has always been an extremely aggressive chewer, to the point where we don't dare get him any plush chew toys any more because they'll be shredded on the first day. We got this for him when he was about 4 months old and he showed no interest in it. He much preferred the Nylabone Dura Chew Wishbone Wolf instead. This was simply too big for him and he preferred other chew toys that fit his smaller jaws better.

He's now 7 months old and he's grown to the point where he LOVES this Nylabone. It's super hard so it'll last a very long time for even the most aggressive chewer. As with any hard plastic chew you need to supervise: throw it out before it gets too small.
Excellent product for aggressive chewers
The Nylabone Souper is the best product I have found for my aggressive chewing dog, a lab mix. Nylabones give her a safe and very effective outlet for her chewing needs, and help keep her teeth clean. Highly recommended.
great for big chewers
Nylabones last forever and a day and all four of our dogs, big and small, love them.
