Fancy Feast Gourmet Cat Food, Cod Sole & Shrimp Feast, Classic 3-Ounce Cans (Pack of 24)

Awesome flavor!
If you have Persians, you know how fussy they can be about their food. Which is probably why they use one to advertise this food! :) Anyway, believe it on this flavor. When you open the can, it just smells like fresh fish. Honestly, can't say I've ever smelled a cat food that smelled like people food, but this one certainly does! My cat goes mad for it -she just cannot get it in her mouth fast enough. It's quite comical watching her eat it too - it is almost like she turns into a Hoover vacuum and well, it's gone in a flash! The price here is about eighteen cents a can higher than what I pay for it but for this flavor, I would consider it! Highly recommend!
We note 2 cats that vote in favor of fancy feast regularly!
Both our cats love their fancy feast gourmet meals. Are older cat has diabetes and the classic cans are recommended by our vet due to the lack of sugar and high protein and each.
Good but could be much better
My cats prefer the Classic (pate) line of Fancy Feast, and I like the fact that there is no soy, corn, carrageenan or wheat gluten.

BUT Fancy Feast Classic still has 2 HUGE issues!!!

1. the least offensive is the fact that some Classic flavors still contain food dye. Why? (cats don't care so this is purely marketing)

2. The WORST issue is the inclusion of Menadione Sodium Bisulfate (a synthetic form of required Vitamin K). Menadione Sodium Bisulfate has been BANNED in human food as research has seen a link to cancer so it's now considered a carcinogen. GET IT OUT OF OUR CAT's FOOD!!

There are 2 other (safe) forms of synthetic Vit K so Fancy Feast needs to get on the ball & have an otherwise great cat food. I still feed it even though there are safe pate's out there (not available in grocery stores or most pet shops) as too new. Check out WIld Calling for instance....I hope Fancy Feast read these reviews as we need to get them to do the right...
