Four Paws Reflective Safety Comfort Harness, X-Small, Red

very small neck
bought this for my 3 lb dog, it was great for like 2 weeks and then the hole for the head was to small his ears were getting stuck. the body fits great, had to buy the small. now the neck hole is to big and body is ok. he has grown in weight and with time it should fit good. i did notice some tearing at an edge but think it was just seam of the reflector coming out and not a broken harness. love the reflectors all harness should have them good for night walks and when the time changes.
very very small, very reflective
I have a chihuahua and at just 5.5lbs this harness was a little too small for him. The neck and back part were ok, but the length was too small so it rubbed his armpits and he didn't like it. I went to my local pet store and got the same one in blue in size small and that's a little bit big around the neck but fine elsewhere so we deal with it. I was very happy with the price for this on amazon, I paid over 3x as much for the bigger one at the petstore. The harness itself is also good, it's a mesh material, not as thin as say a part if basketball shorts a little thicker. Almost like a thin foam or something behind it for comfort. It is definitely strong enough for my little pipsqueak but I can imagine that a larger stronger dog could easily tear the mesh if it is a puller when walking. At night when the light hits it the reflective strips really light up bright! It reminds me of the suits on that movies Tron haha overall I think it's a good product esp for the price and it arrived...

Flexi Comfort - Small - 26 lbs - Purple & Black - 16 FT

got it for a chihuahua
got it for my chihuahua an the scope slowly strted to break i bought the comfort 2 for my boston terrier an it works fine so maybe i got a defective one but it worked great till that happened i called the man fact though an they will be replacing it for me
Excellent Quality
I have owned this leash for over a year now and I have had no issues. I walk my dog daily for 2 to 3 miles per day and it is still working like new. The biggest benefit that I have found with the retractable leash is that my dog does not get tangled up like he used to. He still gets tangled up once in a while, but for the most part we can enjoy are walk without have to constantly stop to untangle him.
Just what I needed
Love the color, love how it works, and great price. Five stars. Don't pay pet store prices for something like this...

Dingo Chicken Strip for Dogs, 12.5-Ounce

Dog liked them
While not as enthusiastically as with the no longer available chicken jerky, my pet will at least eat these. I bought some other brand and he just turned up his nose. Good product for my part. ))
another bacon/smoke flavored poor treat
Hey, maybe I dont read like I used to and maybe I missed something on the label, but from the website on Amazon i saw NO reference to the smoke flavoring in your product. Actually , shame on me because you got me twice with your lack of mention about this. so I give it away to a less particular dog. My dog hate bacon flavor please advise that your"Chicken" snacks actually taste or smell like bacon or smoke. Definitely not for my dog.

Whisker Lickins Crunch Lovers Tuna Flavor Cat Treats, 4-Ounce Canisters (Pack of 10)

My cat cannot get enough of these
I got a sample of these treats in an box of litter which I had ordered on the internet, and offered them to Corey the Cat. It was my downfall. Now he will eat practically nothing else, and crunches them up ecstatically, and whines and butts his head against the cabinet door where they are kept, when his dish is empty.
Kitty's love this
I have 8 cats. All of them go nuts for this item. In fact, I would call it Kitty crack, I have to watch out for my top cat Buddy, he will open up cabinets or climb up on shelves and maybe knock something over trying to get at it. Just wish they sold it by a big bag at a lower cost per unit weight, expensive for 8 cats. I have bought some alternatives that most of them reasonable like, but they know the difference between the real stuff, and the 2nd te alternative, and a few of them turn their nose up at any alternative treat. But nobody turns their nose up at this item.
The Kitties Goodies
So glad to find these 10 packs on Amazon. They never have but a few at the stores, and its my kitties favorites.
Very convenient to by via Amazon. I will be back for more

Plato Original Natural Duck Strips - 16oz

Healthy and Chewy
I am a frequent purchaser of the Plato Salmon Treats which my dogs (as well as neighbors' dogs) love, but the salmon treats are very fishy on the fingers and can't be put in my pocket. The Duck Strips are chewy and not smelly, so I don't have to wash my hands each time I handle them and I can keep a few in my pocket for an unexpected reward. Of course, all the dogs love them, too. I highly recommend both of these treats for their quality. If you love your dogs, these are the treats for them, not wheat-based biscuits.
Doggie Crack!
I love the Plato line of products as they allow me to just mindlessly pick from the line and know that I am feeding something good to my dog(s). As for "Smart Dog Snacks" with Ginkgo Biloba and DHA...I'd better watch out, because my dogs love these treats so much that the treats just may make them smart enough to figure out how to open the "treat cabinet" take the container down and unscrew the lid to help themselves!

While the treats themselves look like beef jerky, they are made with all natural, organic ingredients. The dogs don't care what's in these treats, they just know they love them. As I am typing this they are both sitting at attention, staring at me and whimpering while trying to do the Jedi Mind Trick of "you want to give us more Smart Dog Snacks, pick up your hand from that keyboard and reach in the container and hand us more. Do it. Do it now."

There's so much junk out there and plenty of junk food that claims to be natural (just like people food)...
Floppy loves it
My beagle loves this treat.
The texture is like a cookie and is kind of perfect treat to break into pieces, stuff it in a kong toy etc.

Stella & Chewy's Freeze Dried Dog Food for Adult Dogs, Lamb Patties, 16 Ounce Bag

Great for travel!
My dog is on a totally raw diet, which clearly presents challenges during travel.

During a recent trip to Florida I took along a few bags of Stella and Chewy's steaks in lamb, beef and duck flavors.

While you can feed the food dry, I opted to add a little water and rehydrate them. While my dog had never eaten S&C food, he immediately took a liking to it, finished everything on his plate, and asked for more.

IMO the real measure of how good a food is lies in what comes *out* of the dog, and this food totally agreed with his digestive system. His stools were just as perfect eating S&C steaks as they were eating raw food.

I will definitely keep Stella and Chewy's steaks on hand for those times when feeding raw food is impractical or impossible.

If you're looking for an easy, practical and healthy solution for traveling/camping with your dog, Stella and Chewy's is it!
Raw for dogs who will not eat frozen raw
My dog loves this food and all other flavors of the freeze dried Stella and Chewy's. He would never eat the frozen patties, but for five or six months I've been buying these freeze dried patties and it has worked out great. I just wish that they had larger bags, like three pound bags, to make this more affordable for people with large active dogs, like mine. I wish I could make it his total diet, but that would cost me about $400 or more a month to do that, and I'm sort of poor. I buy it in bulk from somone who advertises on amazon for about $21 per bag when I buy six large bags or more + a coupon.

This is great raw food.

This is what vet's should be selling. Not Science Diet.
My dog LOVES this!
This is such a wonderful way to feed your dog good, healthy food without having to cook it yourself. Natural, raw ingredients in freeze dried patty form- my picky eater loves these. These are also GREAT for travel- so, it is a great way to feed your dog healthy on the go.

Chuckit! Large Ultra Ball 3-Inch, 1-Pack

Stick with the regular ultra balls
These ultra balls work fine -- they're certainly as bouncy and durable as the regular-sized ultra balls -- but you're paying almost as much for one large ultra ball as you do for two regular ultra balls. The large ultra balls are 3" in diameter and use the less-commonly-available [but easily orderable here on Amazon] large Chuckit thrower, whereas the regular ultra balls at 2.5" are of course the "standard" size of tennis balls. That extra half-inch doesn't seem to matter to our dogs (who are ~70lbs and ~90lbs.), although if you have something like a mastiff or great dane perhaps it would be worth it.

So, in brief... product is fine, just not really cost effective IMO.
Dog ball
This is the ONLY chewable toy my 110 pound Great Dane has not destroyed inside an hour.
Merits Kelsy's seal of approval.
Kelsy is a five year old black Lab who lives to fetch. More than anything, she loves to fetch in the lake. This bigger ball has a number of advantages. First, it's bigger, so it's easier to see when the lake gets a little choppy. Second, not everyone has one, so, when that other black lab goes chasing after his regular orange ChuckIt ball, everyone can see the size difference, avoiding unnecessary barking and snarling. Likewise, when that other black lab steals her ball and takes it back to his owner, it doesn't fit in his ChuckIt launcher, so he knows his dog is a little thief. Third, it makes more noise landing on dirt or water, so Kelsy has an easier time locating it.

I like it because it seems to be less of a choking hazard. Kelsy has been chasing and chewing on regular tennis-ball size balls for years with out any problems, but I feel the larger ball stands even less of a chance of getting lodged in her throat through some freak accident.

I suppose...

Dog Games Puzzle Paw Flapper

My OLD dog loved this!
My dog has NEVER wanted to play with any sort of dog toy, she won't even play fetch (she's kind of a weird dog in that way). However, I do know how much she loves her treats. Our dog is 14 years old, she can not hear at all anymore her vision is going, but she is still very playful with us. My dad thought it was a silly idea for me to waste my money on this item as our dog can't even eat hard food anymore. However, I know my dog and had faith that she would love this item. We broke it out on Christmas day...put a treat in it and the dog went to town. Our dog loved it. She might be deaf, her sight might be going, we will probably even have to put her down soon, but she still has a great since of smell. My dad even said "Well, I guess you can teach old dogs new tricks". Thank you for letting me see my dog SO excited over something again!
Paw Flapper a good puzzle! Star spinner a WASTE

has potential...but...
So our 1-1/2yr old boxer has tons of energy but little patience. He played with it for a few minutes and was able to figure out what was going on. He definitely did not like the rotating portion. Because boxers have shorter noses, he was unable to get into the little bowl area and retrieve the treat we had put in for him and the harder he tried the more the bottom portion rotated. In the end, he ended up getting frustrated (not the point of the toy), flipping it over and bullying his way to the treat. I think if his nose/snout was longer/thinner, he would have enjoyed the game more, but as he was physically limited it was more of a tease for him. If your dog is a boxer, bulldog, or other short nosed bread, I would look for something else.

Pedigree Dentastix Variety Pack (51 Treats) 3 Flavors

Wonderful!!
My doggies love all three of these varieties, and they really help keep the tartar off their teeth. I will continue to buy these for my girls.
My dog loves it and that is enough!
Tried other dental products for my 10 year old mixed breed. Most she could not or would not eat. These she loves in all the flavors. Since VET dental treatments leave her whimpering in pain for days I will stick with these (and the quarterly simple cleanings the groomer gives her)!
Good Value
My dog (a lab) loves these. For the price the amount you get seems like a good value. I recommend it.

Leba III Pet Dental Spray

Really works
I have 2 dogs, one of whom had very dirty teeth. I started using the Leba III as indicated (2x/day) and the results were amazing. The dog with the worst plaque showed a significant improvement, and the other dog with moderate plaque was almost plaque-free. My husband and I couldn't believe how much change had occurred in just 2 weeks. Now we are on a once-a-day regimen and their teeth keep improving. I really can recommend it!
Leba III Dental Spray
I've tried various "natural" dental products for my two small dogs. All the products I've tried promise more than what we've actually experienced. Every night without fail both my dogs go through a grooming ritual that includes brushing teeth. They are mostly cooperative except when it comes to brushing so, I tried Leba III. I did "exactly" as instructed and while it helped with their breath my Papillon did get some tartar on his gum line and it didn't whiten their teeth so, we are back to brushing nightly and using the spray. I'm a fanatic when it comes to dental hygiene because of the risk involved in putting them under anesthesia for professional cleaning and the cost. Bottom line, too expensive for results the other products I've used worked about the same for less $$$.
It works!
I have a 4 year old dog that has never had his teeth cleaned. Took him to the vet and got an estimate on what it would cost to have them cleaned. After hearing all the additional options/tests I could have done to make sure my dog was healthy enough to put under anethesia I started to really get worried. My friend told me about this spray she had seen in the magazine. After I did some research I went ahead and ordered it. If it didn't work, well it wouldn't have been the first thing I've ordered that didn't work. To my surprise it does work! I spray it twice a day into my dog's mouth and it has only been 4 weeks and it's quite a change! I'm so glad I came across this. I would definately recommend trying this before putting your dog under anethesia to get their teeth cleaned. My dog actually does not mind this at all and he is one to put up a fight usually on anything having to do with his face or ear area.

Swheat Scoop Natural Cat Litter, 25 Pound Bag

Best cat litter period
Clumps well. Hides smell. Lasts a long time. Flushable. I have been using this for years and tried many other options. Swheat Scoop is my preferred choice and my cat's favorite too.
Worked great for years, but now they have a bug problem
I've been using Swheat Scoop for the past seven years, and have been a big fan of it. It clumps well, controls odors, isn't excessively dusty, doesn't cling to my cats' paws like cement, and doesn't aggravate my cats' breathing problems.

A few days ago, I opened up a fresh package of Swheat Scoop, poured it into a clean empty litter box, and was horrified to see that there were hundreds of small insects in it. Yes, hundreds. Most of them were dead, but I can't be certain that they were ALL dead, so I immediately dumped this brand new litter into a garbage bag and threw it out. The LAST thing I need in my life right now is a bug infestation.

I went to a different store and purchased another package of Swheat Scoop. Brought it home, and had the exact same problem: full of bugs.

Swheat Scoop has a very firm statement on their web site about the "bug issue," claiming that there is no way the bugs can originate from the factory. Even if that's true,...
Sweet Sweat
I have been usuing Sweat Scoop for several years for our first-ever cat, but in conjunction with Feline Pine Scoop. I have used each seperately, but did not like them as well by themselves. The Feline Pine soaks up the liquid faster, but is dusty and sticks to paws. The Sweat Scoop takes longer to dry, but helps keep paws from tracking so much with less dust. I use about 2/3 SS and 1/3 FP. Odor is minimal if at all. Both are advertised as safer for the environment than other based litter.

N-Bone 6-pack Puppy Teething Ring, Chicken Flavor

Perfect teething ring!!
Great idea for a puppy! Our little pug loves these and is easy for her to tote around! Highly recommend!
YUMMY and fun for our puppy
These are a little expensive, but I like being able to give them to our puppy when we are going out and I need her to keep busy at home for awhile while we are gone. She enjoys chewing on them and they are always completely gone when we get back.
Not buying again
I have mixed feelings on these. On the one hand my puppy is obsessed with them so the obviously taste great and if she doesn't break the ring they last quite a while. On he other hand, once she breaks the ring she scarfes the thing down like she hasn't eaten in weeks and I have to watch her closely to take away the last couple inches cause it gets really gummy and gets stuck in her teeth and she can't get it out. It also gets really slimy and gummy and makes a mess.

Angels' Eyes Tear-Stain Eliminator for Dogs, Chicken Flavor, 30 Gram Bottle

works like a charm
I was skeptical, but this product absolutely works. I have a white mini schnauzer who had tear stains all the way down her eyes and into her "beard". She is the cutest little thing, but the tear stans were bronze/red in color against her white fur. After 5 weeks of use, her tears stains are completely gone and have not come back even after 6 months discontinued.
Now I add it to her food just occassionally (maybe once every week or two) and she continues to have clear, pure white fur with no tear stains. Just follow the dosing instructions and mix it into their wet food, or if you use dry food, mix it in with a teaspoon of water.
Her vet actually told me that Angel eyes was the only product that pet owners said they really had success with. She told me don't waste my money on anything other than this product and she was right! Very happy.
Angel Eyes is Great!
I have a white Maltese dog and his eyes do not water very much nor are they dark around them.
I have been using Angel Eyes since I got him at 18 months and he is now going on three years old.
Everyone asks me, how come he does not have the dark around his eyes and I tell them about using
Angel Eyes. It works really well so far so good!
Excellent Product for Dog's eyes and bad breath
A friend recommended this product and it works! My dog's eyes have cleared up completely. I had taken her to the vet for eye infections, but no more. Also, her bad breath is completely gone. Thanks, Angel's Eyes!

PEDIGREE Healthy Longevity Dry Food for Dogs 15lb bag

My Beagle is 18years old
He's been fed Pedigree for nearly his whole life. Call it garbage if you will, but it's managed to keep him fit and healthy and happy for an unreasonably long time. I'll keep buying it for as long as he'll stick around.
My dog loves it, so do the cats
I bought this dog food after my twelve year old pit/hound mix stopped eating another major brand. He scarfs this up like it was a bowl of beef liver. The food is processed into small pellets about the size of a slightly flattened green pea which mixes thoroughly and easily with canned dog food, a bit of scrambled egg or a splash of chicken broth. However, our pooch seems to like it dry almost as much as mixed with other protein. Even the cats will nibble on any leftover bits during the day. Amazon offers a reasonable price and combined with Prime free shipping this provides a convenient alternative to hauling heavy bags of dog food home from the grocery store.
Pedigree
This product is very disappointing because the price gets doubled without notice on the Subscribe and Safe. So, I will cancel the order this week.

Vetri-Science Nu-Cat Senior, 120 Bite-Sized Chews

Excellent product!
We have a 10-year old Maine Coon-mix (male) who adopted us many years ago. His original family was an elderly couple and they couldn't care for him properly. He spends his days outside and sleeps in our garage at night. Because he's strictly outdoors, it's important for him to have good mobility and last year I noticed that he was having trouble jumping both our high fences (8 ft.) and even the small, picket fence out front. His gait also seemed stiff. Our vet recommended an acupuncturist and this doctor (she's a vet with a specialty in acupuncture and she makes house calls!)recommended the Nu-Cat Senior. The combined treatment and Nu-Cat have created excellent results! Our cat now has greater mobility and better range of motion. And he LOVES the Nu-Cat "treats" so it's no problem getting him to eat the recommended daily dose. Very much appreciate this product and strongly recommend it!
Excellent results for my 11 year-old cat
Our 11 year-old cat started losing weight and energy about two years ago. It must be part of the aging process, since the vet could not find anything wrong with her.
I decided to give her the Vetri-Science Nu-cat Senior vitamins three months ago to see if she could regain some weight and some of the energy she used to have. The results were spectacular after the first month of vitamins. Not only that she regained about two pounds, but she is more energetic and now she plays with her old toys every day. In fact she is playing so much that we had to bring out toys she hadn't used in years!
Her coat is shinier and silkier like when she was three when we adopted her. She has no problems eating them, like other reviewers reported. I am giving them to her mixed with a few of the regular cat treats. She always goes for the vitamins first!
I am very pleased with this product and I have purchased it on auto refill so my kitty never has to miss a dose. Plus, Amazon offers such a...
Great supplement with Coenzyme 10
I was looking for a supplement with Coenzyme 10 to try to "help" with her hyperthroidism. My cat cannot take the traditional meds so I was looking for treats with supplements that can try to help soothe they thyroid and/or reduce symptoms. The treats are relatively small and fish shaped but hard. The "hardness" may be a deterrent for cats with teeth problems but so far this has not bothered my cat. The supplement also helps ensure she gets some nutrients since she is a CRF cat and her appetite can vary. Even if she doesn't eat a lot of food she always eats these "treats". Also, I noticed her coat was softer within a few days of starting it.

Great tubing
Nice tubing. Excellent quality. Reasonable price. Soft and flexible. Just don't put it in too tight a spot since, being soft, it's easy to pinch off. Using more rigid tubing if that's a concern.
YAY!!!
Finally, I was able to find silicone tubing for my tanks. The flexibility is such much easier to work with than the traditional plastic tubing. I found algea does not seem to grow on it like traditional plastic tubing. Very happy to find this silicone airline tubing on Amazon.

Rescue Remedy Cream, 30 gm

Rescue Remedy Cream is THE BEST!
Both previous reviewers (Lonnie H. Tait and B. Badders) are totally correct!

I use the Rescue Remedy Cream in the same way, for the same purpose (as well as a host of other needs/applications for rashes, irritations, cracking skin anywhere...!)...With our acreage in the No Cal foothills, and my constant work around the poison oak/ivy, I go to the Rescue Remedy Cream, as described. With my frequent likelihood of poison oak exposure, until I tried and found the Rescue Remedy Cream worked great for this purpose, the prospect of the intense itching, weeping, etc. was daunting -- and true to my dread, I was often pretty miserable. Even using the various poison oak soaps, the Tecnu, etc...just really didn't do much and certainly NOT enough! (Old fashioned bar lye soap -- my fave go-to before discovering the R. R. Cr. -- or Epson salts allowed to dry on the area -- works pretty well for drying it out, but the cream is far better at quelling the itching and calming the outbreak so...
Amazing results.
My daughter's nine year old dog had some bumps on his stomach that the vet had treated. Over time one was stubborn and became more of a bloody looking growth and the vet removed it. Saying that if it came back they needed to do a biopsy. It came back and my daughter had the biopsy scheduled. In the meantime I had read about this cream and sent her a tube. She started using it just a few days before the scheduled biopsy. Amazingly by biopsy day the place was gone. When the vet looked at it she decided a biopsy was not needed. I cannot say this had anything to do with it but that place had been on the dog for 9 months and nothing else had helped. My daughter is extremely pleased and the dog is much more comfortable.
Lots of uses and it never lets me down.
I've been using this for over a decade on everything from cuts & scrapes, dry skin cracks to mild sunburns, etc. I used it once on diaper rash but I can't recommend it for that. It clears it up quicker, but it stings on application. No real scent to worry about and no antibiotic to help create super bacteria. I've used it on the pets also and it works just as well for them.

Nylabone Puppy Ring Bone, Petite

My puppy LOVES these... they only last a few hours though!
I have a 5 month old Pomeranian puppy. I've purchased 2 of these bones now. He got one when we brought him home at 10 weeks old, and it lasted through weeks of constant chewing. He loved it! He is now 5 months old. I bought him another one a week ago, and he'd completely EATEN it in under 8 hours! I like that he loves them so much, but for the cost, it doesn't last long enough at this point. I'm still giving it a good review because it's a great product - my little guy loves it and as soon as you give one to him, he won't stop until he's completely gone through it. He is just obsessed with the texture of it - it's hard, but just soft enough where if he bites down on it, it pierces it, and it makes him want to bite it more... that's perfect for a teething puppy. That's a big thumbs up as far as I'm concerned! I bought another Nylabone that looked JUST like this one, same size too, but it was super hard (for adult dogs I guess) - he had no interest in it. He likes the...
Not recommended.
I bought this for my 12 week cavazu who weighs 5lbs and she ate half of it. Not just chewed it but ate half of it within 20 min of having the toy.
The Best Chew Toy!
When I gave this to my little puppy, he snatched it out of my hand and ran away with it! He loved it! His siblings (whom I'm currently fostering) loves it too! It's a great toy and they don't seem to be bored of it at all. It's a great buy and I recommend it to all.

Milk Bone 10 Lb Large Original Dog Biscuits

Life is good
The highlight of our two dogs day is usually me arriving back home from work in the evening. We greet each other and then they each get a crunchy, delicious, bone-shaped biscuit that further enhances the happiness of the moment. Life is good. We've been playing this little ritual for the past 3 years, even since they've been grownup enough to handle a large dog biscuit and they've haven't been sick or even 'moody' ever, not for one day.

Judging by ingredients alone: wheat flour, meat and bone meal, what bran, milk, beef fat (preserved with BHA), salt, natural flavor, wheat germ... some vitamins, minerals, not bad. I did try to educate myself on BHA, by the way and, it turns out, depending on who's research you trust, it's either a possible cancer hazard or an anticarcinogenic. At one biscuit per day, it's probably neither and our vet said it's okay.

So... there. One box treats two dogs for a couple of months, makes them happy and is quite inexpensive. What's not...
Great Value
I sent this to a dog rescue and they loved it. They said that it made things alot easier and as always, they appreciate any help they can get!
Your dog needs this bone.
Excellent price. Quick shipping. Dog loves them. I would absolutely recommend these to any dog owner. You'll get an entire 90 seconds of no barking. Guaranteed.

Royal Canin Dry Dog Food, Yorkshire Terrier 28 Formula, 10-Pound Bag

Great for my picky eaters!
I have had all of my dogs on this formula for almost a year.

I own a retail store and do a lot of research into what dog foods are best for your pet. I always take ingredients into account when considering a dog food for my dogs. When it comes right down to it, it doesn't matter how great the food if your pet will not eat it. I have also come to realize that every dog is different and what might be considered undesirable for one dog might actually be best for another.

It took me a very long while to try the Yorkshire Terrier Formula 28 because of the corn gluten. My dogs were very picky eaters and basically grazers, eating only here and there. Once my dogs tried Yorkshire Terrier Formula 28, you would have thought I had fed them candy as they would consume all that I placed before them.

I have 5 Yorkies and 2 poodles - this formula is not just for Yorkies. (I do not breed - they are simply my best little friends.)

With the Yorkies, I no...
Wow! Shiney Coat!
I waited to review this food because I truly wanted to see what changes would be evident in my dogs coat, etc. She is a 5# and 6 year old breed of Pom and Yorkie. (Pomkie)Breed specifically with excellent bloodlines on either side. But still she was having dry coat and skin problems. She was being fed Purina little bites. Well my bad! Her coat has turned glossy again as when she was younger. The dry skin is gone as well, although that really was due to her laying in front of the oil heater or the fireplace stove. (she's always seeking the warmest place) I'm very impressed and glad to be able to give an authentic review of the product. Well worth the cost. Especially if you can find it for the best price, which in my experience was right here. Consider the outreageous shipping some online 'pet' discount sellers charge!!! Forget that! This was the best price/shipping that I have found. Let me know if you can beat this and I'll check it out.
"Soo good I pissed myself" - Hudson, my Yorkie
Hudson my Yorkie loves this so much that I was tempted to try it myself to see what all the fuss was about. Turns out Royal Canin had ONLY Yorkies in mind because when I tried a peice of kibble I had the same reflex to vomit as when I saw those pictures of pregnant Kim Kardashian. But nonetheless my dog loves it and the resealable bag keeps all 10 pounds fresh.

C.E.T. Toothpaste - Enzymatic Tartar Control, Beef Flavor, 70 g

My dog loves it!
Decided to try this C.E.T. toothpaste out when the first kind of toothpaste we bought for him (Dr. Wilsons) made him gag and puke everywhere for over a day. This toothpaste doesn't do that, so thats a huge plus. I'm assuming this is because there's no foaming ingredients in this. He actually likes the beef flavor, so brushing his teeth isn't nearly as bad as it was with that brand of toothpaste.

70g doesn't sound like a lot and in all honestly it's not a ton (not as big as a regular sized humans toothpaste), but it's actually a pretty decent amount. I compared this to Petrodex toothpaste and I chose this for my dog simply because it had less filler and more ingredients that actually have a PURPOSE (read: enzymes; it has one more enzyme, lactoperoxidase)! I see that some people are worried about sorbitol and dextrose being in the toothpaste, but dont be. Almost all other pet toothpastes have these ingredients and they are present in such minute amounts that they dont really...
great product, take it from a professional
I am a registered dental hygienist (for people) who has also cleaned dog teeth in veterinary settings as well as my own dogs' teeth at home, so I can attest to the importance of good oral care for us and our pets! Regular effective cleaning can help guard against both tooth decay and gum disease (which causes the teeth to become loose and fall out eventually). Cleaning your pets' teeth "in office" at the vet is a valuable service -one which I highly recommend; but it's hard on your pet (anesthesia req'd) and on your pocketbook; so if you can do it once every few years instead of every year, you will both be better off! Let me be clear: if your vet recommends in-office treatment, then you should do it -there are many problems which they can diagnose and treat only in their office under anesthesia. But in the meantime, and afterward, you can do a lot at home.

I've had great success with C.E.T. Enzymatic toothpastes -they work great, imho better than competitors' brands,...
My cat and dog like it.
Our pets like the taste just fine, no fighting the nitely teeth brushing routine. I was sorry to see the price went up over 8 bux but because it's a clear gel, it does last longer than the other toothpaste. I just wish the manufacturers would make the tube with a more pliable mat'l. Getting maximum product out of it can be a wrestling match (even w/the toothpaste squeezers we use). Sometimes the tube will split just enough to start oozing...yuck and wasteful.
But overall, it's a necessary product for our pets (we lost a dog too early because of bad teeth).
UPDATE 3.4.12: It may be worth checking price at vet's office first. Ours was selling for $8 while these distributors had it over $9.

Nature's Miracle Just for Cats Corn Cob Cat Litter, 18-Pound

Truly a miracle!
I had nearly given up hope of finding an eco-friendly cat litter that actually worked, until I tried Nature's Miracle. After a few weeks of using this litter with my two indoor cats, I am definitely sold. I've listed some pros and cons to explain why I really like this cat litter:

PROS:
- Controls ammonia and solids odor well. It may not be comparable to the perfumed, clay litters on the market, but it certainly outperforms all other natural litters and with daily scooping I don't really notice the cat box smell.
- Clumping. This makes cleaning the litter box much easier and, unlike some other eco-friendly litters, this litter does not stick to the litter box.
- Price. It's maybe not the cheapest litter on the market, but if you care about the environment and the health of your family and pets, this is definitely a good option. It probably doesn't last me quite as long as the package claims, but one bag still lasts a good amount of time.
- Eco-friendly...
Fantastic litter. You won't know that a cat uses your bathroom.
I am a first time cat owner in a relatively small apartment with one bathroom.

Kitty was adopted from a family who used cheap clay cat litter in her box. I could not use this as it made me sneeze and feel sick in the back of my throat.

The cat absolutely hated a highly rated deodorized 'flushable' cat litter. In addition, the expensive stuff didn't stay clumped, and so the stuff broke up in the litter box, which got nasty and stayed that way. Kitty made every possible effort to avoid touching the litter and would first perch precariously on the box edge, then frantically wipe her paws on the side of the box, after the most perfunctory effort to cover up. So I got a box of NATURE'S MIRACLE next. It's made of corncobs. I have a moral objection to using cat litter made from corn or wheat, since I feel it is a sin to have animals use food as a toilet. Corncobs are all right, though; and it was claimed that the ground bits in this product were far more absorbent than...
Best litter for our needs
We have two very large cats that love drinking water and use the litter box very often. Throughout the past decade we've tried dozens of different kinds of cat litter, from non clumping to clumping clay, to wheat litter, etc. This cat litter is by far the best and our cats immediately started using it without objection. It has very good clumping ability, I'd give it an 8/10 (The clumps will break if you accidentally stab the scooper in the middle of a clump and I don't think it would be a good choice for people with automatic litter boxes.) The great thing about the clumps is that they do not stick to the sides or the bottom of the box, hooray! And unlike the wheat cat litter, the clumps don't get "doughy" and stick to the scooper. Also, the litter is very light, which makes carrying the bags and even scooping the litter very easy. The pine smell, like another reviewer noted, smells like pinsol, which I found I actually like. And there is absolutely no ammonia urine smell. I scoop the...

Taste of the Wild Dry Dog Food, Hi Prairie Canine Formula with Roasted Bison & Venison, 15-Pound Bag

lots of good ingredients-- holistic health approach-- but high fat and protein
My dogs liked the taste of this food just fine, although they didn't go crazy for it. (I purchased it for a dog who was very thin and needed to gain weight.)

The ingredient list of this food sounds great-- no corn or other indigestible grains, and lots of great healthy vegetables, fruits, and carbs in addition to high quality meats and probiotics. There are NO yucky "meat by-products"-- just meats and meat meals you can feel good about. Unfortunately this food has a higher than normal fat and protein content. Very high protein (minimum 32% in this food) may not be a good choice for every dog (this is especially a concern for older dogs). The fat percentage (minimum 18%) may great for working dogs and active dogs, but the average American couch potato dog could pack on pounds with that much fat unless you increase exercise and/or reduce your portion size (and that may lead to a dog who doesn't feel full/stays hungry).

If your dog is already overweight you...
WARNING! Formula Change!!!!!
First of all I would like to say that my puppy LOVES this food! I have a 4 month old Lhasa Apso and he licks his bowl well after he has finished eating. When I first got him the breeder had him on Purina Puppy Chow. The first thing I wanted to do was to switch him to a high quality, no grain diet and after alot of research and reviews,Taste of The Wild always came on top(dollar wise). After the switch I immediately noticed a difference in my puppy. His coat is starting to shine and is sooooo soft to the touch. He has so much energy now and he has less eye discharge and less ear odor(due to being allergic to the Puppychow). My only problem I have with this product is when I went to my local pet store to buy him a 15lb bag. I immediately saw on the bag "Now made with Purified Water and More Bison" and I thought to myself; "wow they made it better", but after reading the ingredients boy was I wrong. They might have added more bison but they totally eliminated venison from the list...
First bag went really well, 2nd and 3rd made all 3 dogs violently ill
I have purchased 3 bags of Taste of the Wild Bison and Venison. I had 2 Standard Poodle when I purchased the first bag. My 5 yr old SP is notoriously picky and has a very sensitive stomach. She LOVED this food. We went through the first bag and both were doing great. (Gaining weight which is very hard for her to do). So I ordered a second bag, exactly the same. They ate almost all of it over several weeks and all was fine. With the last several cups in the food container the 1 year old SP became violently ill like she has never been before. The older one then became sick. I figured they had gotten into some thing outside and reordered. The 3rd bag came several days later, both had recovered completely by this time. We also got a Bichon Frise puppy about a week before this. The older dogs had Taste of the Wild late in the afternoon and the puppy grabbed some they had spilled on the floor. All 3 dogs then became ill, throwing up all night. Immediately the next morning I removed all...

Nature's Miracle High Sided Litter Box

WRONG DIMENSIONS
Ordered this litter box because the stated dimensions were "Product Dimensions: 22.4 x 21.6 x 18.5 inches." However, it is only 11 inches high. I'm am pretty sure dimensions are usually Length x Width x Height and 18.5 inches high is far from 11 inches high. Total false advertising.
not amazed
I picked this up at the local petsmart but wanted to share this caveat, the entrance is still relatively low and that is now where most of the litter gets kicked out. The triangle version has a much better concept and keeps most of the litter contained.
Keeps urine in the box
We have cats who, for some reason, tend to urinate "outside the box." They use the litter box but spray too high and it drips down the wall. This litter box totally took care of that. Urine stays in the box now. I bought previous versions of this in grey and beige. It appears that black is the only option now. Pity. But still worth it!

IRIS Large Elevated Feeder with Airtight Food Storage, 2 2-Quart Bowls, Black

Attractive and practical
I used this to replace an expensive wooden set. This is so easy to keep clean; the top is sealed, even under the dishes, so water doesn't get into the storage area and ruin the food below. It holds a huge bag of food - a necessity, since we have 4 dogs. The smoke color is a nice complement to my black kitchen appliances. It really solved all my dog dish problems...and it arrived quickly!
Wonderful!!!
Really pleased with this elevated feeder, no more clunky bag of dog food sitting in the kitchen. Always buy 35 pound bags because they are cheaper, too big for the pantry and I don't like running to the basement either. Thought it might be hard to get food with water in bowl but its not, just unlock, set top angled across and scoop out food.My dog has adjusted well also, she did not have an elevated feeder before. Very pleased with this product.
Space saver!
I live in a very tiny New York apartment with a 75 lbs Catahoula Leopard Hound. This holds the 30 lbs bag of dry food I buy for him. I love it. I bought the black one and was surprised it actually hides the food more than the picture shows. It can be kind of awkward to remove the dishes to get the food, but its worth it with the amount of space I'm saving. I'm happy!

Nutri-Vet K-9 Aspirin Chewables, 75 Count

works great for my shepherd
I was spending $75 a month for pain meds from my vet that my dog hated. He lost his appetite on the vets meds, it worked but at what price? I tried this aspirin and it works just as good. My dog can get around better, less stiffness etc...He has arthritis in his back hips. I have him on this and glucosamine and it makes a big difference.
Be sure to give the aspirin with food so the dogs stomach does not get upset. This is a bargain...
Relief for doggie aches
My oldest dog, Abbey, has arthritis and the aspirin I was giving her, on advice from my vet, was no longer available. I found Nutri-Vet K-9 aspirin on the Amazon site and purchased it after reading the reviews. She has been taking the aspirin for several weeks and there is a noticeable difference in the way she moves. She has even tried to run!! There is no problem giving the aspirin to her as she really likes the liver favor. I just have to watch so the cat doesn't steal it from her.
Excellent for older dog aches
We have used these Nutri-Vet K-9 chewable aspirin for several years with several dogs for a variety of reasons. I've never had a dog refuse to take them right out of the bottle nor have we ever had a dog have a bad reaction to these. We have a large pack of dogs ranging in age from 6 years to 12 years old and they are very active - constantly wrestling & playing or chasing squirrels and shadows all over the yard. That means there are going to be days when a dog (or two) is either feeling his age with some arthritis aches or has just overdone with the running & jumping. Our vet has given his stamp of approval for two of these with food as needed and they always help our hounds. We have large breed dogs - Rhodesian Ridgebacks & a Walker Coon Hound, not sure how effective or what dose would be good with small breeds, but 2 tablets for a 70lb to 90lb dog seems just right.

1000 Patented Dog Pet Poop Bags, 50/20 Refill Rolls Bulk Waste Bag (black)

Best Poop Bags Ever!
I was so pleased with these poop bags that I felt compelled to write a review. I have a 100lb Doberman and prior had a Golden Retriever. I've tried many different poop bags but have to say, these are the best. Minimum requirements: I want an inexpensive bag, and I want a bag that won't break. Most of the poop bags on Amazon fit these requirements - and I think I've tried them all.

These bags excel for a few reasons. One, they are very inexpensive bought in bulk. They are also extremely strong. I have yet to puncture one... and three, they tear off the best of any I've tried.... I just grab one end and start to unroll with the thumb of my other hand positioned in center of bag - when the perforation hits my thumb, there is an opening that catches my thumb and I just pull the bag off the roll - easy!

Size: The bags are plenty big. Like I said, my Doberman is big - 100lbs.... and his poops are big! I have no problem sticking my hand in the bag, grabbing his poop...
Great bags and great per unit price too!
I received the bags today and am so happy I bought them! The thickness is just as nice as in the store, the size is a little shorter but still fine for the cheaper price! I would buy these again even though I did have to pay shipping. The total price is still better than in the store!
cannot be used in provided dispensers
There no hole or tube in the center of the rolls of poop bags to fix them in provided dispensers.

Blue Buffalo Indoor Cat Dry Food, Chicken and Brown Rice Recipe, 15-Pound Bag

I don't think you'll find any better
I have been feeding Blue Buffalo almost exclusively for about eight years now, and couldn't be happier. Prior to switching to Blue, one of my cats, who was twelve then, was losing fur to a point where she was bald nearly everywhere that she could reach, as she was licking and chewing constantly. She looked like she had mange, except I don't think that cats get mange. I took her to a couple of veterinarians. One insisted that she was overly sensitive to fleas, although we weren't finding any fleas. That didn't make sense to me since I had inspected her carefully and I knew that, with five cats, if one of them had fleas, they'd all have fleas. Another vet put her on steroids, which seemed to help some, except that it changed her personality, and that wasn't something I was willing to leave her on for life. Then someone mentioned food allergies, particularly to corn, soy and wheat. Not knowing any better, I had been feeding Science Diet, which was recommended by the veterinarian...
Much softer kitties!
Ever since I started feeding my four cats this food:
1. They've all stopped shedding 80%, still a bit during the winter and summer but not PILES of fur like before.
2. My 2nd oldest cat used to rip his hair out and hes stopped this, and his dry skin has cleared up completely.
3. All of my kitties are SO SOFT now it's ridiculous.

They also look so much healthier and seem a LOT happier. I totally recommend this food because the change in their visible health was SUPER DRASTIC in the best way possible.
Great value!
Blue Buffalo is pretty pricey, especially for a first-time switcher from cheaper store brands. However, I cannot say enough good things about this product. The person I adopted my cat from used to feed him premium organic food (not Blue). Thinking it was way too expensive (especially on a grad student budget), I gradually switched his food to IAMS. I immediately noticed troublesome changes: he started shedding like crazy, his poop was watery and sometimes even bloody, his fur lost its initial luster and became "stiffer." He was still the same cat, running around, all skittish and crazy, but he wasn't quite what he used to be. After trying several other "better" brands---none of which turned him around---I decided that I was going to be wasting more money bringing him to the vet and adding other weird supplements to his diet. Checking the ingredient list on the other premium foods, most of them listed random by-products, corn, and wheat as their primary ingredients. So, you are...

Everholder FURemover Broom

LOVE this broom!
THIS is one of the best purchases I have ever made! I have been using my broom daily for three months. I have three large dogs in shedding mode and I have severe dust allergies. For the first time ever, I feel that I am effectively removing piles of fur (equivalent to a small dog daily)and there isn't any dust kicked up to aggravate my sinuses. For the first time ever, I actually ENJOY sweeping my floors, and I have a LOT of bare floors to cover. I was so tickled with my discovery, I made it a point to purchase the hand held rubber brush. Somebody was truly thinking when they invented this broom. I have thrown away all others.
Most Effective Pet Hair Remover Ever!
While shopping at my local hardware store, a salesman began extolling the virtues of this wet/dry broom. I had no interest because I have a service that maintains the outside of my home and most of my home is carpeted. Hence, I have no need for a broom. Therefore, I became annoyed at his persistence and relayed my lack of interest and need for a broom to the salesman. Not to be dismissed, he quickly told me that it was excetionally effective for removing pet hair as well. Now, pet hair is something to which I can relate. I decided to purchase the broom because I was willing to try anything and to rid myself of this aggressive salesman.

Although I will never admit it to the salesman; this broom is the most effective tool for removing pet hair that I have ever used. The rubber bristles create friction which pulls the hairs embedded in the carpet fibers.

After vacuuming your carpet, the 'Sweepa' will loosen and remove hair which the suction of a vacuum could...

Meow Mix, Surf 'N Turf Variety Pack, 2.75-Ounce Cups (Pack of 48)

Best I could find for special needs cat.
My cat has that incurable mouth condition (an auto-immune syndrome of stomatitis) and can't really chew large pieces of food. I was throwing away lots of food before I found the Tender Favorites Variety of Meow Mix. She is able to lap it up because of the moi]sture content and sometimes I add a little chicken broth after she's left just the larger pieces and she's able to get more down. The cups are small, that's good in my case and there's not much waste, but it's rather expensive to buy in most stores. Since I've found it at Amazon, with free shipping, it's more resonably priced ! She's gained weight and is a much happier cat now. That's well worth a little more money![[ASIN:B000VJHCA6 Meow Mix Tender Favorites Poultry & Beef Variety Pack, 2.75-Ounce Cups (Pack of 48)]
they love it
its more expensive but they eat it all so no waste. wish it came in bigger cups, for 2. also there is alot of moisture in it which is good for them too, thinner than gravy more like a sauce.
The Cat's Meow
Since I started giving this to my cat, she has forgiven all my past transgressions and brought her boyfriend home for me to meet him. Seriously, she loves the product and no longer leaves food in her dish. GOOD STUFF!!!

Fussie Cat Premium Tuna with Salmon Canned Cat Food - 24 - 2.82-oz. Cans

Finally! A soft food my dear old Bagheera loves!!
(Member's daughter here.) My cat, Bagheera, is nearly 17 years old and wasn't getting enough hydration through water alone. I keep her on the hard food that every vet I've had recommends for her dental health (and at 17 and having no dental issues, I guess they've been right!) But her vet and I decided it was high time she get some wet food as well this year. Thus began many tries of different purchases, and several months of sniffing, licking, backing up and walking away from food dishes. My other cat, Marguerite, loved every wet food I brought into the house, so nothing was lost... but that my older prima donna feline wasn't getting the wet food hydration she truly needed. Until finally, finally! I don't know what it is about this food, but from the moment I first put some in her dish, she cautiously crept up to it, sniffed, sniffed again, licked, then started eating like she'd never known food before! She has shown no signs of liking it less, and we've been on it now for a...
Cats LOVE it
I tried a couple of cans of Fussie Cat after checking to be sure the ingredients didn't come from China. I emailed the company and the owner actually emailed me back with detailed information on their plant and food sources! Fussie Cat is about the only wet food my cats eat any more. EVO is the best dry food and they also eat that. I first found it at a pet food warehouse in Anaheim, CA. I tried it and all six really loved it. But that store is a 70 mile round trip for me and I haven't found it anywhere locally. That's why I love the subscription program on Amazon. Not only is the food cheaper, it's delivered to my front door on a regular basis. This one's a hit in this household.
Fussie Cat canned cat food
My cat, Mango, is delighted with his new food which arrived a few days ago, one day earlier than I expected! I had been giving him "Tuna with Shrimp" which he loves also but I wanted to give him some variety. I alternate the food on a daily basis which he really likes, given the rate at which he consumes it! I would definitely recommend this brand as it is the only one which I have found that he will eat consistently on a daily basis.

Natural Balance Dry Cat Food, Limited Ingredient Pea and Salmon Recipe, 10 Pound Bag

Option of cats with allergies
After spending more on allergen-free food from my vet than I spend on groceries for myself, I looked for a reasonable option for my special-needs kitty who is apparently allergic to something in regular cat food.

This food is way cheaper than specialty food from the vet, and my cat's allergic reactions slowly went away after we switched. It smells like death, but it works.
Healthy Cat Food, less stinky outcome
I love Fionna, really I do. She is sleek and black and such a cat. However, her daily doody brought tears to my eyes. Company would suddenly remember forgotten appointments. It was enough to wake me from a sound sleep....in my three story house. I also noticed bloody poo some of the time. My daughter had similar problems with one of her cats. Her vet recommended NB Cat Food. It is the best!! Both of my cats looooooovvve it! While I cant' say the litter box is completely odor-free, the aroma is much more tolerable and within normal range of kitty smells. Both cats are grateful for the change. I highly recommend Natural Balance Green Pea and Salmon Cat food. The one made with duck makes my cats quite happy, also.
My cats stomach jumped out her mouth and said hello
I picked up a sample of this stuff at a health fair and figured that I would just use it as treats and keep my cat on her Iams. I came home and gave my cat her normal "welcome home" snack which she normally eats with a standard amount of cat excitement. I actually thought that she would be disappointed-- it's just cat food, after all, akin to giving a 5-year-old a carrot when he's expecting an Oreo (right?)

Not the case. When I gave her a piece of this food she went bonkers. She even jumped on the shelf and knocked over the container to try to get more out and continued with this behavior for an hour until I hid it in my sock drawer. the next morning when I opened the sock drawer she ran right up and demanded more NOW. I have never seen her love a food so much! It's crazy, I feel like I am living in the middle of a cat food commercial for this stuff.

I notice that most people seem to be buying this food for health reasons, but I am buying it because I am...

Sergeant's Vetscription Joint-Eze Plus Chewables Dog, 60-Count

Happy old doggie!!!
I have an almost-17-year-old female Beagle named Pie -- as in American Pie. As you can imagine, she's more than a bit stiff in the joints these days. I started her on Glucosamines/Chondroitin Sulfates a couple of years ago, even though she didn't show any signs of stiffness then; I was just being proactive with her. I can't remember where I first located and purchased JOINT EZEplus; it was somewhere local. She had been on the stuff from the vet and was doing fine on it. I liked the price and the ingredients, and decided to give it a try late last summer. I was amazed at the improvement in Pie! She loves the "treats" that she gets twice a day, and I saw a major improvement in her movement within three weeks of changing her over to JOINT EZEplus. She will continue to stay on it, and I'm about to start my other almost-15-year-old Beagle on it. And soon enough, my Yellow Lab will have to join the Beagle girls on it too.

I highly recommend the addition of JOINT EZEplus...
Happy dog
My dog went to the vet and had surgery for one of her back legs. Surgery helped but she still had pain. We took her back to the vet and got some Fish oil pills. She took them for awhile but refused later on. So we found Sergeant's Vetscription Joint-Eze Plus. She loves them. She is a very happy dog now. She is more active and moves around the house more.
Sergeant's Vetscription Joint-Eze Plus Chewables Dog, 60-Count
Can not do without this product!
Our dog had joint problems ever since we got him at about 6 months and he is now nearly 3 years old and I swear by this product. He does not limp or move gingerly anymore as long as he takes them. There are only 2 stores that sell them locally and they are always out so I go out of my way to try to find these for him! No other joint pill or tablet helped him but these we can't live without.

KingFisher Media High-T Black - 120 Capsules

Helps Pack That Extra Punch
I'm in my late 30s and this product has been helping to bring my sex drive back to high school levels, no kidding. It will take a week or two to build up in your system so don't expect to pop your first pill and be ready to go in the next hour, but if you give it time you'll notice the differences I'm talking about.

I've taken a few of these test boosters in the past. I'd also recommend looking into the pro player line - Pro-Player Elite (Peak Sexual Enhancement for Men) + FREE Longjack 200:1 Root Extract (Tongkat Ali) Powder 30 Grams. Same thing here, not a magic pill but I've actually been taking it with the longjack powder and besides the increased stamina and sex drive, I've also noticed an extra boost in my workouts. Don't think you can really go wrong with either one, the pro player elite is less expensive but it really comes down to splitting hairs - they both worked for me.
Don't Waste your money..
Where to start... None of these ingredients are even considered possible test boosters at all, basically a pre-workout energy booster that lies and claims it is a natural testosterone booster. I returned mine without even opening it after seeing what was in it. Avoid this product and buy DAA and ZMA supplements for some proven natural test boosting ingredients.
Just a caffeine pill
Unfortunately you can’t see the ingredients when ordering on amazon. When it arrives you discover that it is filled with cheap ingredients like caffeine. It has virtually no testosterone boosting ingredients, certainly not in high enough dosages to have any impact. Bottom line is you pay lots of money for a caffeine rush that you might mistake for a testosterone boost.

Wellness Wheat Free Oven Baked Biscuits for Dogs, WellBars Yogurt, Apples and Banana, 50-Ounce Box

vegetarian, healthy dog cookies
I have 2 labs and one is extremely allergic; these dog cookies are rated well with the Whole Dog Journal The Whole Dog Journal's Guide to Optimum Dog Care: Good Eats - they have a monthly newsletter as well - the ingredients are whole and healthy and there is no chicken, which is really hard to find - my dog is allergic to chicken, eggs, beef, peanuts ... and he's on a grain-free diet - these cookies have oatmeal which is fine for him - so it's very hard to find a healthy dog cookie that works with his allergies and both dogs love them.
Great Biscuits!
My puppy received these biscuits as a Christmas present from his Mom. I don't normally purchase my dog food or treats online, but I will buy these again. Both my puppy and mature dog, LOVE these biscuits, and I am confident that they are made of the finest ingredients. I had some in my pocket while I was in the barn, and my horse started nuzzling my pocket, so I gave him one, and he loved them too! All natural ingredients make this an appealing treat for horses and dogs alike. Thanks, puppy-mama, for turning us on to Wellness Wellbars!
Good Ingredients & The Dogs Love Them
I have respect for the Wellness brand and have previously bought my dogs other Wellness treats. These WellBars are marketed as "bite size." My corgis love them! And, they can certainly eat them in one bite. But, for a medium dog, I consider these larger than bite size. Luckily, the bars are easily broken in two to provide a smaller snack. (Weight maintenance is a high priority with my chow hounds.)

Each bar has 24 calories. The first few ingredients are: ground barley, cane molasses, ground brown rice, whitefish, and sweet potatoes. There's no wheat, corn, soy, artificial preservatives/color/flavor.

This is a big box of treats. I do wish that the bag was resealable, but that's a quibble.

Good Pet Stuff Hidden Litter Litter Box

was hesitant to buy- SO GLAD I DID!
I never buy anything online without a lot of thought and research. I was in between buying this, or buying one of those furniture cabinets with boxes inside. I decided on this because it was a lot less expensive and takes up less room. I've been looking at this for awhile and read a lot of reviews about it, both good and bad.
Here's my feedback:

GOOD:
- my BIG cats (15lbs) fit in it great! It is so much easier for them than the "jumbo" sized box we used before.
- suprizingly looks good (I was expecting it to look cheap because the material is cheap, but it's not bad!)
- super easy to keep clean. (wide openning lets me scoop easily, dumping litter out and then soap/water is a quick clean overall
- affordable!!!!
- works anywhere (doesn't take up much space, can angle openning in any direction so you can change your mind where to put it, unlike the furniture boxes)
- NO ODOR: I've had it for a few weeks and it's been great...
Great product!
This litter box not only looks great but works really well - we have our litter box in the living room area and you can't even tell it's a litter box, let alone smell it! It's big enough for our cat as well (18 pounder) and easy to clean.
my cats love it
I bought one and then another a few months later. They are easy to assemble and clean. The "pot" finish is authentic looking but the plant and wiry moss are not at all lifelike and tedious to arrange the first time. But my cats (2)(ages 8 and 9) love them, especially the privacy. I have them on small washable area rugs, one on each floor. I had previously bought one of the covered litter boxes you tilt to clean, but it was ugly and did not work well for me as it was smallish and I like to give my cats a deeper bed of clumping litter than was practical for that model.

Natural Balance Canned Cat Food, Indoor Formula, 24 x 6 Ounce Pack

Best canned cat food for the price!
I adopted my cat from the local shelter about 7 years ago. We bought him the standard Purina dry cat food from the grocery store and he was fine for a couple years, until he started throwing up a lot. His stomach would hurt so bad he would hide in a closet or a corner and just moan. We took him to the vet and they told us he had a sensitive stomach; they said we either needed to change his food or he would have to get steroid shots every couple months--obviously we opted for new food, which they recommended as science diet sensitive stomach (only available in dry). His symptoms got better but he still threw up a lot and his coat was dull and full of dandruff.

So, we did our homework, and found out that science diet is the fancy brand for Purina--full of fillers and unidentifiable ingredients (and costs the same as higher-end, natural foods to boot!). After much research we chose to try Natural Balance canned food due to it being relatively inexpensive and also full of...
Good for fat kitties.
My cat's vet strongly recommended a wet food diet because she's pretty chubby. (4 pounds overweight.) He promised that the weight would just fall off. He wasn't kidding. After two weeks she has lost a whole pound.

Per my cat's vet, the feeding instructions on the can aren't quite right. He said that a cat should weigh 10 pounds or less, so one can per day should be enough. Half a can in the morning and half at night seems to work pretty well.
My cat is very happy!
I like the ingredients in this and my cat appreciates the taste. If she had thumbs, I'm sure she'd give it two thumbs up.

Bayer Seresto Flea and Tick Collar, Cat

My cats have had horrible reactions to this product.
I have two cats from two separate gene pools. Both cats had reactions within two weeks of wearing this collar. 6 yr old female lost all hair around her neck and had two open sores that needed to be treated by the vet - (anti-inflammatory and antibiotic shots). 8 yr old male lost all hair around his neck, half of his face was swollen and his head was red from ears to chin (steroid shot). Bayer was kind enough to refund the money for the collars and the additional veterinary care visit for both cats.
Within two weeks of the removal of these collars, both otherwise healthy cats have developed upper respiratory issues. The female overcame hers quickly; the male has been hospitalized twice for dehydration. All tests were inconclusive if these URI's were in reaction to the collars, but I think it speaks volumes that my cats have always been healthy and now I've been to the vet 6 times in three weeks. Bayer is currently investigating to decide if they will cover expensive of the...
3 months on Seresto and no fleas or ticks in sight!
Our 3 kitties have been wearing the Seresto collars for close to 3 months now. While other family & friends in the area are having flea and tick problems, we are free and clear. We are waiting to see if it lasts the full 8 months of protection but (knock on wood) so far so great! After a horrible infestation of fleas the past 2 years in a row -even using other products in a pricer range- the Seresto system seems to work. I have been recommending the collars to everyone I know.
Flea collar that works
I tried everything and everything failed. I put those collars on my three cats. So far short hair cat has no flea. Long hair cats have one or two fleas every other day. But flea population has decreased dramatically. I am happy with the result.

Ovitrol Plus Flea and Tick Shampoo for Pets, 12-Ounce

The Only Flea and Tick Shampoo I Recommend!
This has been the ONLY flea and tick shampoo that removed fleas from my dog and kept them off over a long summer of battling them. The egg-killing aspect makes this unique and effective. I used about once ever week or two until the weather cooled off and killed off the rest of the fleas in our yard/house. Horrible season for them, great product to battle them. Lily felt so much better after a good Ovitrol bath!

I could literally see dead fleas in the bath water and all over my counter after I blowdried her fur. DIE SUCKERS!!!!!
This stuff ROCKS!!!
In the 8 years that I've had my dogs, we've never had a flea problem until we brought home a new foster dog. I didn't realize that she had fleas until we'd had her for 2 weeks and by then, all of our dogs were infested. I tried Adam's flea shampoo, which killed all of the adult fleas, but not the eggs. I tried the Ovitrol shampoo and it is amazing. Everyone is now flea-free and smells great! I also bought the Siphotrol premise spray to get rid of any fleas in the house and I haven't seen one since. This stuff is a miracle worker!!!
A good all around pet shampoo.
Doesn't keep fleas off long enough, but otherwise effective. I will continue to use it, because it is better than most others I have used and has a pleasant odor.

ZippyPaws Dog Poop Pick-Up Bags, 210-count

Good product
I like this product it is much thicker than previous purchases from another manufacturer. You won't go wrong if you select this product.
Great Bag
I've tried several other bags and I like this one the best so far for two main reasons. First, they are nice and thick (good enough for my bichon puppy). Second, I like the handles, because they're easy to tie. Also, in comparison to the Earth Rated bags that I used before, I like that these are unscented (the lavendar scent from those other bags are disgusting) and these are easy to open (just rub together; don't need wet fingers).
Dog Doo Bags
Until we got a puppy, I never knew doggy doo bags were so variable - and how important their ability to actually work would be! These bags are the best of the 5 different types we've tried so far. Easy to open even with cold hands, tie handles are long enough and do the job, bag is opaque enough to conceal. So far, our favorite by far!!

Tug-O-Rope Rope Tug Dog Toy 20"

Good toy but leaves a trail...
Our breed loves to pull, so the toy was a no brainer purchase. If your dog is a puller, it will be one of his favorite toys as well. There are two ends to the toy, one being a knot and the other being a 'tail' of pieces of cotton yarn. The 'tail' end is slowly falling apart and pieces of cotton yarn are left all over the house. The knot end is stronger, but, of course, the dog prefers the 'tail' end as he can get a better grip. We have had it a month and it seems fairly durable. If I could find another toy that he likes as much and does not leave a trail of yarn, then I would not likely purchase it, again. I had to give it four stars because it is his favorite toy.
Great toy
Awesome tug toy for the price. For our last dog, I spent 3x as much on a rope for him and he shreded it within a month.
Fell apart within minutes - shed worse than my dog!
I have a fifteen pound Jack Russell who enjoys a nice game of rope every now and then. This rope was of poor quality and shed little rope strands all over my carpet. I had to throw it out.

Virbac Anxitane M-L Dogs 100 mg x 30 ct

Works well for separation anxiety
My normally very mellow beagle had very bad separation anxiety. The neighbors let me know how vocal she was when I wasn't home and she started scratching the door. My vet recommended Anxitane so I gave it a try. It took around 3 weeks to have the full effect (vet said this would happen) and after that it worked great - no more howling and scratching. I tried taking her off it after a year or so and the behavior issues started again (after a couple of months) so I put her back on it again.

Your dog will need to take this every day for it to be effective - it builds up in their system, it's not a quick 'rescue' type medication. My dog has had no side effects (no sleepiness) and she seems much happier.

We've been using this for about 3 years and was paying over $40 a box at the vet. I'm delighted that Amazon is now carrying it and highly recommend it.
It does help
I had read about this product when working at a Vet Hospital and was interested in the information that I gathered but did not, at the time, have the need to use the product. I recently acquired an adult dog that had not had a lot of exposure. She was nervous about many things, men being one of the main stress points. This created problems with my husband and her growling at him. This however was not the only problem. Determined to have her trust us and live happily in this new environment I decided to give Anxitane a try. It took about a month to see a change. It was subtle at first but once we began to pass that month point it was clearly helping her be less anxious about things and therefore not be as quick to growl or flinch away from things that worried her. I am very happy with this product, glad that I waited for a while to see if it helped.
No help for my dog, but worth checking
The active ingredient in this product is L-Theanine, an amino acid that, according to Wikipedia, is primarily found in tea. WebMD.com further states (in relation to humans) that Theanine is taken "for anxiety and high blood pressure, for preventing Alzheimer's disease, and for making cancerdrugs more effective." Theanine is considered a safe food supplement for humans and dogs. Anxithane M&L is the L-Theanine version for dogs. (Also search for Theanine on AnimalPlanet.com for more information.)

I rated this product solely for its effect on my 14-year old dog, who suffers from night-time anxiety due to early cognitive dysfunction (senior dog dementia). My one-star rating therefore does not represent this product's potential benefit to other dogs. After three months of carefully following the directions, I did not see any decrease in my dog's anxiety and distress at night.

Before giving this product to my dog, I investigated it to ensure its safety. The U.S. Food...

Sentry Stop That Noise and Pheromone Spray for Dogs, 1-Ounce

Converted Skeptic
I rarely do product reviews, but I had to in this case. My Ori Pei was starting to act aggressive toward the teen kids, and that was simply not acceptable. I tried all the ghost whisperer techniques, read a bunch of books, etc. Nothing worked. I saw a can of this in the pet store and figured it couldn't hurt. 2 uses was all it took! First use she barked up a storm, but backed off. It took about 15 seconds, and she went and laid down nice and calm. Like the others said, now she just sees the can and changes her behaviour. Only time I actually spray it now is when she's acting crazy and I can't get her attention (like barking at the fence at the dogs next door). One spray, even from 50ft. away and she stops acting up. I'm out now, so I'm stocking up. Amazing product.
AMAZING!!!!
I have the most horrible dogs when it comes to barking....we couldnt stand it anymore and I was about to go insane. I didnt want shock collars so I looked for something else and bought this based on all the good reviews. Day 3 and not 1 bark....NOT 1!! These are dogs that bark when every car drives by, a leaf falls off a tree...ect. Not 1 bark!
WONDER WORKER!
This stuff is AWESOME!! It doesn't hurt your animal at ALL - I think it's the sound of the gas coming out forcefully that really causes my dog to jump and STOP doing whatever it is I'm telling him to stop. He has been cured with only 2 uses of this little miracle worker of jumping up on people when they come in (he's a Golden Retriever and LOVES everyone he meets!). Now allI have to do when I want him to stop doing something (barking for instance), is show him the orange can and he stops right away. The smell is extremely mild and pleasant - you can hardly smell a thing. I highly recommend this. Amazing product.

KONG Cozie Ali the Alligator Medium Dog Toy, Green

So far still squeaks
my terrier kills squeakers in minutes and this one still squeaks -- he likes it and plays with it often. seems tougher than many toys at similar cost...will buy another if this one continues to hold up.
Was ok
Didn't hold up to my dogs teeth but he is a chewer and very tough on toys. Lasted about a week but he still has the rag he carries around without stuffing squeaker.
He chewed to shreds every other chew toy, but not Croc...
I don't know what it is about this toy, but my dog chewed to bits any other stuffed toy. He would kill the squeakers in seconds, ripping the guts out in minutes of anything stuffed. Ironically, he loves this one, carrying it into his bed at night and out to the patio every morning to get sun (alligators like that I guess?). Anyhow, it's held up beautifully, is a fun indoor toy, and my pooch's best friend.

KONG Cat Cozie Kickeroo Catnip Toy (Assorted)

My cat is addicted
My cat is OBSESSED with her raccoon kickaroo. She carries it around in her mouth all day and loves to play fetch with it. I frequently wake up with it on top of me in bed from her wanting to play fetch in the middle of the night.. She also rolls around with it and licks it a lot. She has not taken to any other toy to the extent that she loves this one. Just picking it up and crinkling it at her, she goes nuts. My other cat also likes the raccoon and likes to kick it, but she likes to kick other toys too. And she's not wildly obsessed like the first cat is..

The toy is very lightweight even though it is large. The sound is a little irritating when you are trying to sleep, but there are much more irritating toys out there.

I've had the toy for nearly 2 months now, and considering my cat plays with it ALL DAY LONG, it is holding up very well. The felt on the face is getting a little fluffy, but none of the seams have split, the ears are still attached, and it has no...
The kickeroo is not my arm.
My silly demon of a foster kitty loves to wrestle with my hands and arms. While I know she is only playing, it hurts! I purchased the Kong Kickeroo so that she would have something to wrestle with that wasn't my arm. She still prefers to wrestle with my arm, when she goes after me I can substitute the kickeroo for my arm and she'll wrestle with the kickeroo instead of me.

The kickeroo is smaller and less firm than I'd imagined it would be, but it's filled something that makes a nice crackling sound and she loves wrestling with it. Silly demon kitty is small - only about 7 pounds. I'm not sure if this toy would be big enough for a large cat to wrestle with. I do not think it will survive my dog if he gets hold of it.

Bottom line: When Kickeroo dies I will order another. It reduces the amount of time silly demon kitty spends attacking me - for $5 it's worth it.
Excellent Product
My cat totally loves this item. He had one I purchased when I picked him up from the shelter. He played with it so much, I thought I had better get him a second one just in case. I literally just opened the package and he is in love again. It's an excellent toy for a cat to self-entertain.
