
A necessity for Marshall Ferrets
I've lived with ferrets for over 20 years, and most have been Marshall ferrets. This food was formulated by Marshall to meet the nutritional needs of ferrets and should be a good fit for your Marshall ferret. If you're new to ferrets, please understand that ferrets are not like dogs or cats and imprint on what is food and what is a treat very early in life. Marshall ferrets grow up expecting this as food. It's a bit of work to switch them over to other foods.
This food is versitile and can be served cold as kibbles, mushy with water for a younger ferret, a sick ferret or an older ferret, or it can be served mushy and warm for an older or sick ferret. Be warned that while there's a fair amount of protein in this, it's fish based and wet Marshall Farms food smells awful.

I had asked my vet about ferret food, and my vet told me that marshall's is a good food :)
Chunks are too big...
My ferret likes it, but the chunks are too big for her although very soft to chew. I often crush it a little to make meals easier for her.
