Better Than Ears Premium Dog Treats, Smoky Bacon Flavor, 36-Count Pouch

May be healthier than ears, but do not last as long
Maybe I am the only one, but I give my dogs pig ears to keep them occupied for a while. It takes both of them a good 5-10 minutes to eat one. But I know they aren't the healthiest thing on the planet, so when these better than ears came out, of course I tried them. Both of my dogs love them, but they can eat one in about 30 seconds, defeating the purpose of a chew type treat. For the price, I'd rather just buy them regular dog biscuits that are eaten in the same amount of time. That being said, the Amazon price is MUCH cheaper than any in store local price I've seen. Maybe these are better for small dogs that can't devour them so quickly, but my 70 pounders eat them like they are a regular old dog biscuit.
My dog loves these!
These are a better deal through Amazon than in the store and my dog is spoiled, so I try to purchase treats that are good and cheap too!! If you order several items and get free shipping too then it's even better!
Better than Ears
My dogs love these. This was a great buy for the price as they are quite expensive in the store and you only get 9. This is a bag of 36.

Zuke's Lil' Links Healthy Grain Free Little Sausage Links for Dogs, Chicken and Apple Recipe, 6-Ounce

Charlotte LOVED them!
Charlotte, my boyfriend's dog, looooooves these. They have a strong savory smell. As soon as she smells them, she licks her lips! If I'm trying to teach her a trick, I'll cut up one of the sausage links into smaller pieces. One bag lasts quite awhile and it's nice to be able to give her moist treats in addition to the dry biscuits. It's also great to know what ingredients are going into her treats - I'm an avid ingredient label-reader, so Zuke's products are a go-to for me.

FYI Charlotte is a 3-year old Lab/Staffordshire Terrier mix.
Zukes links
Our dog loves these treats. He runs to the cabinet every time someone goes in. Loves all the flavors!! His favorite treats. Thanks
Zuke's - Greatest healthy treat on the market!
My dog is one very healthy and happy puppy with Zuke's treats. They are both his and MY favorites! In fact, I have four assorted flavors in the grain-free that in the grain-free that I feed my baby!

Zuke's Supers All Natural Nutritious Soft Superfood Dog Treat, Yummy Berry Blend, 6-Ounce

ok
My dog was grabbing the bag before it was even opened!! He loves Zukes treats!! The only negative id that they are bigger than the picture showed. It showed that they were the same size as the regular ones but they are about the size of 2 to 3 of them stuck together.
healthy dog treats
Unfortunately, my little Bichon doesn't like these berry flavored treats, but all her friends do!! Zuke's makes great treats, healthy and trustworthy!
Healthy treat helped with UTI
Our puppy had a UTI and I gave several of these treats and in conjunction with medication, it really helped. I give these to her for maintenance now, since they have cranberries, high in the ingredients list.

GREENIES 6-Pack Pill Pockets for Dogs, 7.9-Ounce

Dog's love them
Whoever invented these should be raking the dough in. They solve a time-old problem of giving meds to your pets. I think the reasons are that they smell like the ingredient, i.e. peanut butter, hickory smoked or chicken. The pets can't smell the med inside. The other reason is they are malleable, you can squeeze them shut around the med. I buy the capsule size ones only: If I need to give multiple pills, no problem, and if it's only one pill, I only use half the pocket. The other dogs get the rest so they don't get slighted.
Fantastic! The dog takes his pils now!
We were using peanut butter to hide the pills. It worked, but was messy and gross at times. What a great find. The dog just gobbles them up and takes his pills with no problems. Awesome product! I kick myself for not finding these sooner.
Dogs love them
Easy to use and helps administer meds to my finicky dogs. I particularly like when i can find the peanut butter flavor.

KONG Stuff'N Ziggies Cube Small Dog Treat, 52-Ounce

My dog loves these.
Only gave it a three rating because even though they are individually wrapped, some were stale. I know this because I slice them for my tiny dog and some were too dry and hard to slice.
Love the Bulk Size
My puppy has to have her Kong treat every morning after her first "potty" of the day. Buying these in bulk like this keeps the cost down.
Doesn't always fit well in the small kongs
I'm not sure if it's a Kong issue or a ziggie issue but both of my little guys pull the Ziggie right out of the Kong. I have a Yorkie and a Shitz-poo. It's not challenging for them. I contacted the company and they offered nothing except suggesting putting them in the freezer. Hmmmm.....don't think I want that on my carpet....I did have some others before that did give them more of a challenge, so... I'm inclined to think that the Ziggies may be a tad smaller than they should be.
I would NOT buy again.

Extra Large Dried Bonito Flakes "The BIG Bag" 4 oz

Don't get ripped off
I've seen these products at high-end pet stores. Don't get ripped off. This is a total waste of money if you live in a town with at least one Asian grocery store.
Go to your Asian grocery, preferably Japanese, and purchase dried bonito flakes, i.e. katsuobushi. Katsuobushi is way cheaper and probably much better quality, as it's meant for human consumption. There should only be one ingredient. Bonito. One of the ingredients we Japanese use to make dashi stock.
Best stuff ever - yes, Kitty Crack
A new pet supply store opened in my area a few weeks ago, they gave me a free sample of this stuff, and told me if I bought some I could return any unsed portion if my cats did not like it. They know what they are doing, I went back and told them this is Kitty Crack. My 1.5 year old male has started refusing to eat unless I put some of this in his food. He races me to the kitchen when I go to it for anything, hoping I'll give him some more Kitty Crack. The six month old kittens gobble it up too. The 4 oz bag is less expensive than the 1 oz container, so I'll be ordering from Amazon a lot. I can only hope my male gets tired of it :)
Price Is Not The Only Issue
It's certainly true that you can purchase a 1 lb. bag of "human grade" Katsuobushi (shaved, dried bonito flakes) for a little over $26, and the bonito flakes sold as pet treats cost considerably more for considerably less money. But you also need to read the ingredients listed on that bag of Katsuobushi. You'll find ingredients as bonito and salt, whereas Cat-Man-Doo lists only bonito, period.

I have both of these products in my home, and the fact of the matter, is that both brands can be safely tasted by human beings. I invite you to do so, and even blindfolded, and you will instantly know which one is Katsuobushi. Salt is intrinsic to dried fish products and in large proportion. Tasty, for humans, but the fact that you can actually smell the salt in the 1 lb. bag of Katsuobushi, tells me that my cats and dog are getting an overload for their systems.

It may be incorrect to assume that the drying process used to produce Cat-Man-Doo bonito flakes uses absolutely...

Whisker Lickins Crunch Lovers Tuna Flavor Cat Treats, 4-Ounce Canisters (Pack of 10)

My cat cannot get enough of these
I got a sample of these treats in an box of litter which I had ordered on the internet, and offered them to Corey the Cat. It was my downfall. Now he will eat practically nothing else, and crunches them up ecstatically, and whines and butts his head against the cabinet door where they are kept, when his dish is empty.
Kitty's love this
I have 8 cats. All of them go nuts for this item. In fact, I would call it Kitty crack, I have to watch out for my top cat Buddy, he will open up cabinets or climb up on shelves and maybe knock something over trying to get at it. Just wish they sold it by a big bag at a lower cost per unit weight, expensive for 8 cats. I have bought some alternatives that most of them reasonable like, but they know the difference between the real stuff, and the 2nd te alternative, and a few of them turn their nose up at any alternative treat. But nobody turns their nose up at this item.
The Kitties Goodies
So glad to find these 10 packs on Amazon. They never have but a few at the stores, and its my kitties favorites.
Very convenient to by via Amazon. I will be back for more

Plato Original Natural Duck Strips - 16oz

Healthy and Chewy
I am a frequent purchaser of the Plato Salmon Treats which my dogs (as well as neighbors' dogs) love, but the salmon treats are very fishy on the fingers and can't be put in my pocket. The Duck Strips are chewy and not smelly, so I don't have to wash my hands each time I handle them and I can keep a few in my pocket for an unexpected reward. Of course, all the dogs love them, too. I highly recommend both of these treats for their quality. If you love your dogs, these are the treats for them, not wheat-based biscuits.
Doggie Crack!
I love the Plato line of products as they allow me to just mindlessly pick from the line and know that I am feeding something good to my dog(s). As for "Smart Dog Snacks" with Ginkgo Biloba and DHA...I'd better watch out, because my dogs love these treats so much that the treats just may make them smart enough to figure out how to open the "treat cabinet" take the container down and unscrew the lid to help themselves!

While the treats themselves look like beef jerky, they are made with all natural, organic ingredients. The dogs don't care what's in these treats, they just know they love them. As I am typing this they are both sitting at attention, staring at me and whimpering while trying to do the Jedi Mind Trick of "you want to give us more Smart Dog Snacks, pick up your hand from that keyboard and reach in the container and hand us more. Do it. Do it now."

There's so much junk out there and plenty of junk food that claims to be natural (just like people food)...
Floppy loves it
My beagle loves this treat.
The texture is like a cookie and is kind of perfect treat to break into pieces, stuff it in a kong toy etc.

PEDIGREE Healthy Longevity Dry Food for Dogs 15lb bag

My Beagle is 18years old
He's been fed Pedigree for nearly his whole life. Call it garbage if you will, but it's managed to keep him fit and healthy and happy for an unreasonably long time. I'll keep buying it for as long as he'll stick around.
My dog loves it, so do the cats
I bought this dog food after my twelve year old pit/hound mix stopped eating another major brand. He scarfs this up like it was a bowl of beef liver. The food is processed into small pellets about the size of a slightly flattened green pea which mixes thoroughly and easily with canned dog food, a bit of scrambled egg or a splash of chicken broth. However, our pooch seems to like it dry almost as much as mixed with other protein. Even the cats will nibble on any leftover bits during the day. Amazon offers a reasonable price and combined with Prime free shipping this provides a convenient alternative to hauling heavy bags of dog food home from the grocery store.
Pedigree
This product is very disappointing because the price gets doubled without notice on the Subscribe and Safe. So, I will cancel the order this week.

Himalayan Dog Chew, Large 3.5 oz

Great clean treat
ATTENTION: Don't throw the treat away as others have, read below:

I first learned of this treat from a booth at the Portland Pet Expo, and it has turned out to be an excellent, safe chew for our golden retriever puppy. When we first gave it to her, she absolutely loved it and chewed it for 15+ minutes straight, which was quite an attention span for our then 11 week old puppy. The pet expo sold samples at a discount, but said the retail price for this size chew was ~$24, so I was glad to find it on amazon for so much less.

The himalayan chew is a combination of cow and goat cheeses, which is smoked for 7 months to produce a very hard chew which softens with puppy slobber. It does not stain, smell, or splinter. The only potential risk is a choking hazard as the chew gets small (what bone doesn't have this risk?). However, we learned a trick at the pet expo that most people here don't know:

DON'T throw away the treat. When it gets so small you worry about...
Great all natural long lasting entertainment!
I am now on my third package of Himilayan dog chews from Amazon. They are amazing and you can't beat the free shipping from the suppliers on Amazon! My search for a long lasting chew started when our lab/doberman puppy was only about 3-4 months old. I had read so many good things about bully sticks so I ordered them and then just about threw up when I smelled them! I tried to look over it, gave it to our pup (who loved it) but then not only did it smell while he was eating it, but his breath was stinky for a while afterwards! Plus, I'd say the bully stick didn't seem to last much longer than a regular (non-stinky) rawhide. Then I ordered the Himilayan dog chew. He wasn't sure how to approach it since it is literally rock hard. But, then he started scrapping it with his teeth. He isn't the type of dog to take big bites so he's never gotten any big hunks off of it. One chew last weeks since we usually save it for an after dinner snack/entertainment (1-2 hours at a time). Not...
Not quite as long-lived as I hoped...
I bought this at my local high end pet food shop for $9. I brought it home, and gave it to the pup on the patio. My dog is a 70 lbs lab/pit mix around 1 year old. The good: he loved it and didn't upset his stomach at all. The not so great: lasted about 90 minutes, in two sessions. I gave it to him on day one for an hour, and he finished about 30% of it, then I took it away and saved the rest for the next day, which only took him like half an hour to seal the deal (nothing left whatsoever). It's fun for a try, but at $9, I think I won't buy too many more.
