Instinct Grain-Free Duck Meal & Turkey Meal Dry Dog Food by Nature's Variety, 25.3-Pound Package

DOGS LOVE THIS FLAVOR
I trade off foods or mix them for my dogs so they get a nice variety, to prevent boredom, and to better insure my dogs are getting good food/nutrition so I also buy Instinct Chicken, Orijen Red Meat, Evo Red Meat, and several others. Will try Ziwi Peak at some point -- it is dried and expensive, but the ingredients can't be beat. I prefer US-sourced food and toys and products for my dogs -- and I DO NOT BUY FROM THE MANUFACTURERS THAT MADE AND SOLD POISONED DOG FOOD AND TREATS WITHIN THE LAST 10 YEARS!! BE good to your dogs and be sure you check out the food / toy manufacturer on FDA.GOV and reputable dog-centered food sites.

Turkey & Duck flavor a hit with my dogs. Instict is in the top 10 dog food brands on the market -- it rates around #6 for healthiest brand and this manufacturer DID NOT make and sell poisoned dog food.
Great for my allergic dog!
We adopted a dog from the humane society and had tried about 6 different high quality dog foods before we tried this one, this is the first one that we really noticed a big difference! Her coat came back and her itching has reduced noticeably. She's gaining weight and loving it, as is our other (non-allergic) dog. So glad we tried this dog food, I know it won't work for every dog's allergies as everyone's are different, but this one is definitely worth trying!
Dog with Allergies, Sensitive Stomach
I have been feeding Nature's Variety Instinct, turkey and duck, to my German Shepherd for almost a year now. He has suffered with allergies (both food and environmental), and has a very sensitive stomach. I am very happy with Nature's Variety, and my guy does great on it. I recommend it to anyone who has struggled with finding a food for a dog with allergies. I also appreciate Amazon selling it with a repeat delivery service. It is really nice not having to go out and buy it every month!

Wellness CORE Small Breed Pet Food Bag, 12-Pound

my dogs love it
My dogs love this food. Even the 18 year old made more of an effort to eat it and he does eat much anymore. with the regular Wellness the food would stay out for hours and they would leave some behind in the dish but this the younger dog eats right up.
Causes dark eye circles on my light dog
I switched my dog to grain free a few years ago as he has itchy, sensitive skin and taking out the junk helped. I have a great dog-sitting situation with my upstairs neighbor, where we take turns caring for each others dogs, and when I found they were also serving their dog a high-quality non-grain food (not wellness), I switched to the same food to make it super easy to just to hand off the dogs and not worry about the food. All was well, until the company stopped making that food recently! The upstairs neighbor decided to change to this food, and I was happy to follow along as it fits all the requirements of high quality, etc., and it's easily available online and at Petco. But I noticed something interesting...my dog's bug eyes are relatively watery (due to being, well, bug-eyed), and the tears have taken on a very dark color since switching to this food. Not to mention he's itchy again! I didn't want to give up on it without a good trial, so I switched him to another high quality...
Very nutritious
My dogs love this food. It's very heathy and highly nutrient dense. They enjoy it more than other brands I have tried. It's also a great weight loss food because it has high protein and low fat. I mix it with Natural Balance canned food.

I've noticed recently that my dogs coats are shinier and they have less tear stains. Highly recommended!

Castor & Pollux Organix Puppy Dry Food, 14.5 Pound Bag

Good Puppy Food
After getting my new Irish setter puppy I sat on the internet and did ALOT of research on puppy/dog food. And just like if you put processed crappy food in your body, your health declines. Giving dogs food that you can find in most super markets are made up of mostly corn gluten, by products and things that sounds horrible.
I decided that my dogs would have a better life than that. I did have some issues finally getting a food I felt comfortable giving him and one that agreed with his stomach. At first I tried Wellness puppy food and it gave my little guy loose stool. So I slowly switched over to Organix and have not had a problem since. I will continue to use this until he gets to a year.
Amazon sells this cheaper than anywhere I could find it and if you get the subscribe and save it makes it an even better deal. I have never had an issue with the shipping or packaging.
Took a few tries to find the right one.
When we got our lab puppy I did a lot of comparing different brands of dog food including cost. This is a great deal. A lot of dog foods boast chicken or another meat as the first ingredient but the list is based on weights. If it says chicken followed by a grain of some sort, the grain is probably the most abundant ingredient because the chicken loses around 60% of its weight when cooked. This has chicken-meal as the first ingredient (after chicken) which is cooked and dried when weighed. It doesn't have any corn or wheat products. We used Blue Buffalo at first but it was more expensive and our puppy never had firm stools. We don't have that problem with this. We also tried Castor & Pollux Natural Ultramix but she didn't like it. Organix is a great deal on subscribe and save on Amazon, our puppy loves it, and it is good for her. Now if only I fed myself as healthy as I feed her =)
As a side note: the Organix dog cookies were not a hit. For training I highly recommend...
Highly Recommend but Did not Work for my Dog
I love Castor and Pollux Organix dog food as I have done much research and it seems to be the best of the best. It is expensive, but all of the top quality foods run around the same price and this one falls into that category. They have so many important factors such as organic chicken with no added growth hormones or antibiotics, the kibble is small and my dog found it to be tasty, and it is made in the USA (which is important because it contains chicken and there has been many dog food recalls that contain chicken made in China).

As much as I love this product, I am sad to report that it did not agree with my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy. I gradually introduced Organix mixing it with his previous food (Halo)over the span of 2 weeks and his stools were consistently soft. Every once in awhile he would have a "normal" stool but for the most part either had soft stools and occasional liquid diarrhea. I kept him on the food for a month, after being on Halo 3 months (he...

Hill's Science Diet Adult Light Dry Dog Food Bag, 33-Pound

Dog Likes It
Not much you can say about an item you do not consume but your dog does. The Lab does not offer much feedback but he seems to like it.
Doggy delicious product
During a routine tooth cleaning by our vet, it was discovered that our little Miniature Schnauzer(11 yrs old) had almost no thyroid count. So the Dr. put her on a thyroid medication and a diet. Her thyroid is now normal but the most exciting part is that she has lost almost 5 pounds. We use the light Science diet and carefully measure it according to recommendations on the bag for the weight we wanted her to be. She is a "grazer" in that she will vaccum up any crumb, bug or dead item she can find outside, so we had some difficulty in the beginning of THE DIET!! She has adjusted and can now run circles around the other dogs and can easily jump up on the sofa with no help. Happy happy happy little girl. It was our fault that we let her gain weight but all is well now and we will continue on a healthy program for her. Her coat glistens and her eyes are bright and snappy. Great dog food.
my dog took to this right away and is losing weight
This food seems to satiate my dog's appetite. She's 78 pounds but should probably weigh about 10-15 pounds less. I've been using SD Light with her for about one month and I can see some progress already. We purchased this on the recommendation of a friend who had great success with his overweight lab. I'm a Prime member too so having a 40 pound bag delivered to my door for free was a nice bonus and beats the heck out of having to carry it myself.

Royal Canin Dry Dog Food, Yorkshire Terrier 28 Formula, 10-Pound Bag

Great for my picky eaters!
I have had all of my dogs on this formula for almost a year.

I own a retail store and do a lot of research into what dog foods are best for your pet. I always take ingredients into account when considering a dog food for my dogs. When it comes right down to it, it doesn't matter how great the food if your pet will not eat it. I have also come to realize that every dog is different and what might be considered undesirable for one dog might actually be best for another.

It took me a very long while to try the Yorkshire Terrier Formula 28 because of the corn gluten. My dogs were very picky eaters and basically grazers, eating only here and there. Once my dogs tried Yorkshire Terrier Formula 28, you would have thought I had fed them candy as they would consume all that I placed before them.

I have 5 Yorkies and 2 poodles - this formula is not just for Yorkies. (I do not breed - they are simply my best little friends.)

With the Yorkies, I no...
Wow! Shiney Coat!
I waited to review this food because I truly wanted to see what changes would be evident in my dogs coat, etc. She is a 5# and 6 year old breed of Pom and Yorkie. (Pomkie)Breed specifically with excellent bloodlines on either side. But still she was having dry coat and skin problems. She was being fed Purina little bites. Well my bad! Her coat has turned glossy again as when she was younger. The dry skin is gone as well, although that really was due to her laying in front of the oil heater or the fireplace stove. (she's always seeking the warmest place) I'm very impressed and glad to be able to give an authentic review of the product. Well worth the cost. Especially if you can find it for the best price, which in my experience was right here. Consider the outreageous shipping some online 'pet' discount sellers charge!!! Forget that! This was the best price/shipping that I have found. Let me know if you can beat this and I'll check it out.
"Soo good I pissed myself" - Hudson, my Yorkie
Hudson my Yorkie loves this so much that I was tempted to try it myself to see what all the fuss was about. Turns out Royal Canin had ONLY Yorkies in mind because when I tried a peice of kibble I had the same reflex to vomit as when I saw those pictures of pregnant Kim Kardashian. But nonetheless my dog loves it and the resealable bag keeps all 10 pounds fresh.

PEDIGREE SMALL BREED dry dog food for Adult Dogs less than 25 LBS. Original 15.9 lb

Dog Loves It.
My Shih tzu mix loves the food. She seems to tolerate it well, though it took a few days of adjustment for her. Great size for her small teeth and mouth. Good value.
Frankie likes!
I love it because my dog loves it. I have a 14 lb long haired dachshund who is quite particular about what he eats. Well, he eats this! Yeah! And, at last vet check-up, he was reported to be healthy. So I guess it's good for him too. Sometimes I mix it with a little homemade chicken broth and it gets a little soggy or he can eat it plain and it's crunchy... YUM
The Resident Mutt Loves This
My dogs love pedigree. These smaller bites are perfect for my Pomeranian mix dog. She's very picky, but really likes this brand of dog food. She will eat this dry and most other foods she rejects unless I mix in soft food.

The price here is comparable to Petsmart and I don't have to haul the bag. Nice!

I knock it only because while it is moderately healthy, there are better choices as far as ingredients. I would give it 4.5 stars
